  • EB Welding Titanium Housings: Bear Machinery formed titanium plates and billet machined endcaps to construct this housing. This photo was taken as the first assembly was being loaded into an Electron Beam welding chamber.
  • The Titanium Housing being test fitted after EB welding. These housings are used for scientific instruments in open ocean use up to 50 ft. deep.
  • This Wave Generator was designed by BBN Technologies to create a controlled shockwave underwater. Bear Machinery was contracted to develop and build this device. These components were designed to withstand 30,000psi of pressure.
  • Here is the completed generator ready for testing.

Bear Machinery has an extensive machining and fabrication facility, and we also include part finishing and painting to provide complete manufacturing services to our customers.  Bear Machinery can provide customers with mechanical engineering, documentation, finishing requirements, and inspection reports.  We have clients that depend on us to review their designs for manufacturability prior to a critical design review or final drawing approval.
